UGC-NET June 2024 Examination Cancellation; Hand over the investigation to the CBI

Delhi:  It is deeply concerned by the today cancellation of UGC NET exam which was held on 18th June 2024 due to indications of compromised integrity. This situation underscores the critical need for robust and foolproof security measures in our examination system. Recent the neet exam also face same problem and same exam is conducted by the NTA  agency

While the decision to cancel the examination is disappointing for all candidates who have invested considerable time and effort in preparation, it is a necessary step to uphold the fairness and credibility of the examination process. Ensuring transparency and accountability is paramount, and everyone support the Ministry of Education’s prompt action to cancel the examination and hand over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

It is essential that the authorities expedite the process of rescheduling the examination and provide clear and timely updates to all affected candidates. The uncertainty caused by this situation has significant implications for our academic and professional futures, and swift communication will help mitigate our concerns.

Moreover, this incident should prompt a comprehensive review of the current examination protocols. The involvement of the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit indicates the seriousness of the breach, and it is imperative that lessons are learned to prevent such occurrences in the future. Enhanced security measures and regular audits must be implemented to protect the integrity of all national examinations.
