‘Financial Matters of Universities’ at Savitribai Phule Pune University Inauguration of mentoring workshop on this topic
Pune Reporter :- A two-day workshop on ‘Financial Matters of Universities’ was inaugurated at Savitribai Phule Pune University in collaboration with Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and Directorate of Higher Education, Pune. The workshop which is going on in Sant Dnyaneshwar Auditorium of the University was inaugurated by the Principal Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Department of Maharashtra Government. Vikas Chandra Rastogi, Education Director, Higher and Technical Education Department Dr. Shailendra Devlankar, Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, In-charge Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Khare, The inauguration was concluded with the presence of Steering Committee Member Shri. Anil Rao and other dignitaries.
On this occasion Dr. Prashant Magar moderated while Dr. Shailendra Devlankar introduced the workshop. Principal Secretary Vikas Chandra Rastogi expressed his guidance regarding the financial changes under the new education policy and financial development of the universities at the inauguration of the workshop. On the subject of ‘Financial Matters of Universities’ for Non-Agricultural University, Abhimat University, Group University, Chief Financial Accounts Officer, Deputy Finance Accounts Officer, Deputy Chancellor (Finance & Accounts Department) of the State. A two-day mentoring workshop has been organized on 15th and 16th May 2024.
Various government decisions, orders, circulars are issued by the government from time to time for the implementation of various government decisions, orders and circulars regarding finance and accounting matters of various universities in the state.
This workshop has been organized in order to facilitate the financial operations of the universities according to these government decisions, orders and circulars. CA Chetan Daga, CA Pritam Mahure, Shri. Anil Rao and other experts will guide the workshop on May 15. So on May 16, CA Manoj Chandak, CA Parag Rathi, CA Milind Limaye, CA Dr. Dilip Satbhai etc. experts will guide. Akrishi University, Abhimat University, Group University, Abhimat University Chief Finance and Accounts Officer, Deputy Finance and Accounts Officer, Deputy Chancellor (Finance and Accounts Department), Ministry Officers of Higher and Technical Education Department, Administrative Officers/Staff, Chartered Accountants, expert guides etc. have participated in this workshop.
